Make sure your pancakes are flipping great! Our handy tips for perfect pancakes and flavour inspirations will get you creative in the kitchen!

How To Make Perfect Pancakes:

  • Preheat your pan before you add the pancake mixture, to test if your pan is hot enough add a droplet of water to the pan to check that it evapourates.
  • Beat it well! Avoid leaving unwanted lumps of flour in your mixture, make sure your batter is well mixed and rid of lumps.
  • Oil your pan with a light coating of vegetable oil - use a kitchen towel to wipe this on the base of your pan.
  • Don't add too much mixture into your pan. This will create a pancake which is too thick. Aim for about half a cup of mixture per pancake.
  • Don't flip too early! As tempting as it may be to start flipping your pancake wait until you see bubbles forming in the batter before attempting a flip.
