Easy Chocolate Truffles

Simple to make, these delicious chocolate truffles can be made as a special treat for friends, family or yourself! You can change the toppings by sprinkling with freeze dried raspberries, chopped nuts, grated chocolate or chocolate strands. An easy recipe to get kids involved in the kitchen.

Easy Chocolate Truffles

Ingredients:

150ml double cream, 100g dark chocolate chopped, 100g milk chocolate chopped, 2tbsp cocoa powder, 100g milk chocolate

Method:

  1. Heat the cream in a pan over a gentle heat, once hot remove from the heat and stir in the chocolate. 
  2. When combined and smooth pour into a bowl and place in the fridge for at least 2 hours until firm.
  3. Melt the remaining milk chocolate and allow to cool.
  4. Use a teaspoon to spoon out the truffle mixture, roll into a ball shape and dip into the cooled melted chocolate. Place on baking parchment, sprinkle with cocoa powder and repeat with the remaining mixture.
