225g plain flour, 100g butter, 2tbsp milk, pinch of salt
- Sift the flour into a bowl and add the butter. Rub together with your fingertips until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
- Add in the salt and milk and mix until it forms a firm dough. If the dough struggles to come together add an extra tbsp of milk.
- Tip the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead for 1-2 minutes.
- The dough is now ready to use or can be wrapped and chilled until needed.
