quick balsamic glaze

Quick to make with only 2 ingredients, this speedy balsamic glaze is perfect for adding to salads, drizzling over roasted vegetables or enjoying with fresh crunchy bread rolls. 

Speedy Balsamic Glaze

Ingredients:

100ml balsamic vinegar, 2tsp golden caster sugar

Method:

  1. Over a low heat, gently simmer the balsamic vinegar and sugar for 5 minutes until the sugar has combined and the sauce has thickened and turned glossy.
  2. ⁠Allow the sauce to cool in the pan, then pour the sauce into a steralised jar. This can be kept for 2 weeks in the fridge.
