Cherry Crumble Cake - add 250g of halved cherries to a standard vanilla cake mixture, stir well through and pour into a 7inch cake tin. Top with a crumble mixture ( 45g plain flour, 35g butter and 20g caster sugar rubbed together until breadcrumb like) and bake for 30-45 minutes.
Cherry Chocolate Muffins - add 100g of quartered cherries and 100g milk chocolate chips into your normal muffin mixture for a sweet and fruity bite.
Cherry Jam - simmer 2kg of halved cherries, 1.2kg of jam sugar and the juice of 2 lemons for 45 minutes on a medium heat until thick and wrinkles when tested then pour into sterilized jars.
Cherry Scones - perfect for a sweet afternoon treat, add 100g of quartered cherries to your basic scone mixture and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
White Chocolate and Cherry Afternoon Loaf - add 150g of white chocolate chips and 350g of quartered cherries to a vanilla cake mixture and gently stir through. Pour into a loaf tin and bake for 1hour - 1 hour 15 minutes.
Cherry and Almond Shortbread Biscuits - add 1/2 tsp of almond extract to your standard shortbread mixture. Roll out the shortbread dough, use a cutter of your choice to shape the biscuit and transfer to a baking tray then gently push a cherry halve into the biscuit and bake for 10 minutes.
